As Time Goes On...

This month, I'm reminded of a song by Chicago that says, "As time goes on, I realize, just what you mean, to me.."  For as long as I can remember, C and S have been viewed as twins by many. Now they've been separated and participate in quite different activities.

C's a senior and is going, going, almost gone all the time with stuff like the prom, musical, senior projects, and being with friends before leaving for college.  Graduation in about a month!
S has gone the way of the missionary and will complete his training this week, departing for Canada on Wednesday.  He's enjoying focusing all time, talents, and energy on serving others and was pretty pumped about being on the reception side of welcoming newbies at the curb this past week.  We just have a blast reading his letters!
Oh how quickly it all comes and goes.  Just as you think you get the hang of this parenting thing, they wander off and do their own thing.  I gotta say, though, it's a lot of fun!
