Idaho Adventures 2010

We've started our summer travels in Idaho this weekend with a trip down river to Hagerman Fossil Days which included
a Memorial Day parade,

a festival in the park,

Thousand Springs waterfalls,

and Smith's Dairy ice cream in Buhl.

Hagerman is known for these fossil beds holding evidence of a few hundred species from 3.5 million years ago including horses, camels, and mastodons.  the parade was evidence of more modern fossils including politicians, cars, and Shriners in little cars. The weather was fantastic as were the sights, sounds and smells.  Lisa was taking the pictures so mainly caught myself, Liz and the kids.  Jeff was too quick for the camera.  These days just keep getting better and better!
